Lamberto received his Electronic Engineering doctorate degree at the University of Bologna, Italy in 1975. He worked for two years in the Marconi research center in Pontecchio Marconi developing software for Instrument Landing Systems.
In 1977, he joined the microwave division of Elettronica in Rome, Italy to develop Multi-Function Assemblies for Electronic Warfare. In 1984, he went to Alpha Industries in Woburn, MA and became engineering manager in the Multi-Function-Assembly division and GaAs foundry. In 1993 he was promoted Director of Millimeter-Wave (mmW) commercial products for Point-to-Point Radios and Automotive Products. In 1995 he founded ARCOM a company focused around mmW wireless products for Point-to-Point Radio applications. The company was sold to Dover Corporation in 1999. In 2001 he founded LNX Corporation a company leader in the design and manufacturing of state of the art receivers for Homeland Security and C-IED applications. LNX was sold to Mercury Systems in January 2011. In January 2011 he founded Solynx Corporation, a Company involved in RF multi-function design consulting and high tech procurement services. Lamberto was also in the Board of Ibis technology, a leading provider of SOI technology, in the Board of Radio Physics Solution a company focused around E-band Radios and Security products and member of the Global Communications Devices technical advisory board. He has authored and coauthored more than 50 technical and business papers.
