David Calabro

Senior Director Of NOC Services at ANS Advanced Network Services

David Calabro has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. David began their career in the United States Army as a Cannon Fire Direction Specialist from 1993 to 1995. After that, they joined Time Warner Cable, where they held several positions such as Advanced Technical Operational Specialist, Technical Support Supervisor, Regional Outbound Technical Support Supervisor, and NOC Supervisor.

In 2011, Calabro joined Charter Communications as a Sr. Knowledge Management Analyst, where they developed and communicated Knowledge Management strategies and ensured alignment throughout the organization. David also assisted in maintaining and updating SharePoint sites for multiple NOC teams.

In 2015, Calabro joined Welch Allyn as a Lead Customer Support Rep, providing operational and knowledge management support. David was responsible for implementing projects to improve the call center system and continually improving processes.

From 2018 to 2021, Calabro worked at Greenlight Networks as a NOC Manager, Director of Customer Operations, and Director of Network Operations. In these roles, they were responsible for managing teams, overseeing daily operations, and driving network performance improvements.

Currently, Calabro is working at ANS Advanced Network Services as a Program Manager/Director in-Building Wireless. David is responsible for managing and coordinating projects nationwide, acquiring project resources, and supporting the development of construction practices for the business.

Throughout their career, Calabro has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and technical skills in the telecommunications and network operations field.

David Calabro earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies in Operations & Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Monroe Community College from 2010 to 2012. In 2016, they attended Oracle University, where they received training in Oracle Knowledge Content Administration Rel 8.5 and Oracle Knowledge Search Rel 8.5. In 1990 to 1993, they studied Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians at Genesee Community College. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including ITIL Intermediate certificate in IT Service Strategy from AXELOS Global Best Practice in August 2016, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Georgia Tech - Scheller College of Business in August 2016, ITIL CSI - Continual Service Improvement from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2015, youth protection training from Boy Scouts of America in November 2015, Kepner-Tregoe's ITSM Problem & Incident Management in September 2015, ITIL Foundations in IT Service management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in August 2015, and Microsoft SharePoint 2010 for Power Users and Site Collection Administrators (M50468, M50469) in March 2015. David also holds a CompTIA A+ certification.
