Shaka Dorant

Shaka Dorant is an experienced tax compliance professional currently serving as the Head of Group Tax Compliance at The ANSA McAL Group since April 2020. Prior to this role, Shaka held positions such as Group Tax Compliance Manager at The ANSA McAL Group and Tax and General Ledger Manager at Huawei Technologies (T&T) Ltd. Shaka's extensive experience also includes leadership as Managing Director at Aquarius Property Management Company Limited and senior accounting roles at Kam Wah Restaurants Limited, Mayfair Trinidad Limited, OGM Communications Ltd, and as Clerk III Accounts and Finance at Agricola Credit Union. Shaka holds a Master’s Degree in International Finance from Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and an ACCA qualification from Students Accountancy Centre, along with a high school diploma from Fatima College.
