Paolo Guardiani is a Project Engineer at Ansaldo Nucleare, working on the contract for ITER Machine Assembly. With a background in mechatronics engineering, Paolo has experience in system integration and technical supply leadership. Previously, Paolo worked as an Innovation Engineer at Hitachi Rail and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. Paolo's research focuses on developing wearable systems for industrial scenarios and designing cable-driven robots for inspection in harsh environments. Their education includes a PhD in Bioengineering and Robotics from the Università degli Studi di Genova and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
