Varun Sah has been in the software engineering industry since 2011. Varun started as an Intern at the Integrated Genomics Lab of OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University in 2011. In 2012, they were a Research Intern at Intel Corporation's Heterogeneous Computing Group, where they worked on data collection for heterogeneous GPU performance and proof of concept for heterogeneous architecture (Python). In 2013, they returned to Intel Corporation as a Research Intern - Heterogeneous Computing Group, where they worked on analysis and modification of DNA sequencing and analysis software pipelines (C, C++, Python). In 2015, they became the Director of Technology at Clevrnet, where they single-handedly developed clevrnet.com, a service to connect undergraduate college consultants and clients needing consulting work. Varun also created $50,000 of business value for clients receiving assistance from student consultants. In the same year, they also became a Research Intern at Intel Corporation's Health Sciences and Solutions Group, where they worked on analysis of cancerous cell imagery in order to help create an all-in-a-day cancer cloud architecture for use in hospitals and patient diagnosis using CellProfiler software. In 2018, they joined VOLANT TRADING as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Ansatz Capital.

Varun Sah attended Jesuit High School from 2010 to 2014. Varun then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Yale University from 2014 to 2018.
