Buddhika Gunathilaka

Buddhika Gunathilaka is an experienced operations and manufacturing leader with a strong background in managing supply chains and enhancing production efficiencies. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Manufacturing & Operations at Ansell since February 2024, Buddhika previously held the position of General Manager at Botanicoir from May 2022 to January 2024, where key accomplishments included a 50% capacity increase in factory operations and a 30% productivity improvement through automation. Prior to that, Buddhika spent over 13 years at Unilever, working in various roles including Operations Manager and Manufacturing Manager, achieving record manufacturing performance and leading initiatives that garnered national recognition in safety and operational excellence. Buddhika holds a BSc.Eng in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Ruhuna.
