Michael Clarke

Michael Clarke has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Claims Team Leader - Liability at Ansvar Insurance Australia since April 2013. In this role, Michael leads the liability team, supports senior management in monitoring claims processes, and manages complex claims including professional indemnity and historical abuse. Previous positions include Senior Liability Claims Consultant and National Liability Claims Consultant at Ansvar, where responsibilities involved the comprehensive management of public and professional indemnity claims and maintaining relationships with brokers and solicitors. Prior to that, Michael worked as a Property Claims Officer at QBE Insurance, managing a substantial portfolio of property claims. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of General Insurance and certifications in general insurance compliance and negotiation skills.
