Gary Vaterlaus

Gary Vaterlaus has extensive experience in educational curriculum development and church leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Church Curriculum and Publishing, Director of Advancement, and Regional Advancement Officer at Answers in Genesis since July 2005, Gary oversees the development of various educational resources, including Sunday school and homeschool curricula. From February 2014 to June 2018, Gary acted as the Lead Pastor at Community Fellowship Church in Lawrenceburg, IN. Prior to these roles, from January 2000 to June 2005, Gary worked as a Writer, Researcher, and Speaker for Sola Scriptura, focusing on the authority of Scripture and the return of Christ. Gary holds a Master’s degree in Science Teacher Education from Western Seminary and a Bachelor's degree from Oregon State University.
