Answers in Genesis
Joshua Smythe is an experienced network engineer currently employed at Answers in Genesis since August 2022. Prior to this role, Joshua served as an infrastructure manager at Global Lending Services LLC from May 2021 to August 2022 and held dual positions as a network administrator and systems specialist at Jervey Eye Group from September 2014 to May 2021. Earlier in Joshua's career, positions included psychology faculty and graduate assistant at Bob Jones University between August 2006 and May 2014, and a research specialist at the Medical University of South Carolina from August 2002 to June 2004. Joshua holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biblical Counseling from Bob Jones University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from Clearwater Christian College.

Answers in Genesis is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis, as it is the most-attacked book of the Bible. We also desire to train others to develop a biblical worldview, and seek to expose the bankruptcy of evolutionary ideas, and its bedfellow, a “millions of years old” earth (and even older universe).
