Chris Murray

Chris Murray is a Senior Field Application Engineer at ANSYS, Inc. since October 2016, specializing in SCADE tools for safety-critical embedded software, with expertise in avionics display systems and software certification standards. Previously, Chris served as Lead Mechanical Engineer at Eaton, managing product designs in the SmartWire-DT sensor family, and worked at PTC as a presales application engineer. Early career roles included contract design engineering at PING, Electronics Packaging Engineer at Orbital Sciences Corporation, and Design, Manufacturing, and Controls Engineer at Trompeter Semflex. Chris has also contributed to academia as an adjunct mathematics instructor at both Chandler Gilbert Community College and Arizona State University. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a minor in Physics from Montana State University-Bozeman.
