Rajanikanth Jayaseelan

Rajanikanth Jayaseelan has extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as Lead R&D Engineer in the Mechanics and Simulation division at Ansys Inc since November 2000. In this role, Rajanikanth focuses on advancements in Materials and Fracture Mechanics, specializing in Material Curve Fitting, Material Modeling Support, Initial State, Multi-Dimensional Field Data, and Pre-Processing. Prior to Ansys Inc, Rajanikanth worked as a Research Assistant at CoMeT at the University of New Mexico from August 1997 to August 2000, contributing to the development of a generic framework for Simulation and Multi-Physics. Rajanikanth earned a Master’s degree in Structural Mechanics from The University of New Mexico (1997-2000) and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (1993-1997).
