Tony Karam

Tony Karam is a seasoned professional in the field of sales and engineering, currently serving as Global Sales Director at ANSYS, Inc. since January 2020. In this role, Tony leads the Systems and Optical global sales team, focusing on revenue growth and go-to-market strategy for new and emerging technologies. Previously, Tony held the position of Systems Regional Sales Manager at ANSYS, where responsibilities included growing the ANSYS System VSP and Embedded Software business across North and South America. Prior to joining ANSYS, Tony served as Vice President of Operations for the Americas at Esterel Technologies and held positions at Hamilton Sundstrand as a Field Application Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Tony holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer at Work and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
