Lu Yu is an accomplished algorithm expert with a strong background in computer science and data mining. Currently working at Ant Group since December 2020, Lu has held the title of Senior Algorithm Engineer and contributed significantly to the development of advanced algorithms. Prior experience includes a research scientist internship at Yahoo and a data mining engineer role at Alibaba Group, where Lu helped build a large-scale recommender system serving billions of customers worldwide. Lu Yu holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from KAUST, as well as advanced degrees from Hangzhou Normal University and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, focusing on data mining, recommender systems, and machine learning.
