Himanshu Gulati

Himanshu founded Antara and serves as Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer (CIO). Prior to Antara, Himanshu was the Head of US Distressed Credit & Special Situations at Man Group where he launched the GLG Select Opportunities Strategy in February 2015. During his tenure at Man Group, Himanshu was also a member of the Global Risk Committee. Before joining Man Group, Himanshu spent nine years at Perry Capital, most recently as Managing Partner responsible for distressed securities and event/catalyst equities. Prior to Perry, Himanshu was a distressed credit analyst at Rockview Capital, a credit hedge fund.

Previously, he worked in investment banking within leveraged finance at Merrill Lynch and began his career in the accounting division of Goldman Sachs. Himanshu earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Binghamton University.
