Collins Otieno

Collins Otieno is a software engineer with experience in the industry since 2019. In that year, they joined Giktek IO, where they helped reduce the time a customer takes to open an account to less than 5 minutes and engineered an e-billing system for a tier one bank in Kenya. In 2021, they moved to Safaricom PLC, where they worked on https://safaricom.com, improving the stability of the site by championing for standardization of coding practices and implementing gamification to improve customer retention. Currently, they are working at Antara Health as a software engineer.

Collins Otieno obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology between 2015 and 2019.
