Rajit Mehta

Rajit Mehta has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Rajit currently holds the position of Independent Director at Dr Lalpath Labs and has been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Sheares Healthcare India Holdings since 2021. In the same year, they also became the Managing Director of Max India. Prior to this, they served as the CEO and Managing Director of Antara Senior Living starting in 2019. Before their time at Antara, Rajit held various roles at Max Healthcare Institute Limited, including CEO and Managing Director from 2015 to 2019 and Deputy Managing Director from 2014 to 2015. Rajit also served as the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Max New York Life Insurance Co. Ltd from 2000 to 2014. Before joining the healthcare industry, Rajit worked at Bank of America as a Director of Human Resources from 1992 to 2000. Rajit began their career at HCL Ltd as a Manager of Human Resources in 1985.

Rajit Mehta completed their Master's in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from UBS-Chandigarh in 1985. Later in 2006, they pursued an Advanced Management Program in General Management from INSEAD.
