Daniel Price is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as Chief Scientist at Kea Aerospace since March 2022. Concurrently, Daniel has held multiple roles, including Deep Field Traverse Navigator and GPR Operator for Antarctica New Zealand since January 2017, completing six extensive traverses across the Ross Ice Shelf. As a Project Scientist in Glaciology at the University of Canterbury, Daniel studies the role of Antarctic sea ice in climate regulation. Daniel is an Edmund Hillary Fellow and co-founder of Offcut, with prior leadership roles in various projects, including directing a global climate change awareness campaign at Pole to Paris. Daniel holds a PhD in Sea Ice Remote Sensing from the University of Canterbury and a Bachelor of Sciences in Marine Sciences from Cardiff University.
