William Madsen

William Madsen is an experienced engineering and program management professional currently serving as the Head of Mission Engineering at Antares since June 2023. Prior to this role, William held various leadership positions at Rigetti Computing from 2019 to August 2023, including Senior Manager of Technical Program Management, where responsibilities encompassed managing the technical program management organization and driving initiatives in quantum computing development and strategy. William's contributions included securing contracts with the Air Force Research Lab, developing advanced technologies, and enhancing systems engineering processes. Earlier in William's career, service in the United States Air Force from 2014 to 2019 included roles such as Chief of Delta IV Structures and Pneumatics, overseeing the production of launch vehicle systems, and Test Director for advanced developmental programs. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.
