Vivek Kongot

Vivek Kongot is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and design engineering within the medical device and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as a Sr Product Development Engineer at Antares Pharma Inc. since May 2022, Vivek previously held positions as Sr Development Engineer at Nuwellis, Inc. and Zimmer Biomet, where responsibilities included evaluating design parameters, maintaining risk management files, and performing comprehensive reviews of design history files. Additional experience encompasses research and teaching assistant roles at the University of Minnesota, where a variable compression ratio engine was designed, and various engineering internships that focused on design validation and improvement of manufacturing processes. Vivek holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Systems Engineering from the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas, respectively, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
