Alberto Calafiore

Alberto Calafiore is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the field of electronic and computer engineering, specializing in vision systems. Currently at Antares Vision Group since March 2020, Alberto engages in laboratory techniques and programming for testing new technologies. Previously, Alberto worked as an electronic/computer engineer at FTSystem, focusing on control systems for bottling lines and developing new technologies in artificial vision. Additional experience includes roles at Antares Vision, where Alberto designed multi-camera vision systems for pharmaceuticals, and Logics&Controls, where Alberto developed vision systems for the food industry. Alberto also held positions at SIPA and Elsag Bailey & Data Logic, contributing to the programming of vision systems and researching image processing algorithms. Alberto holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Parma, completed in 1996.
