Lucy Li's work experience begins in 2018 with their role as a Student Mentor at Great Potentials Foundation, where they participated in the MATES program as part of a university course in youth mentoring. In 2017, they worked as a Tutor at A Plus Education, teaching subjects such as English, Mandarin Chinese, economics, chemistry, and biology to students of various ages. In 2021, they joined Drillmaster Group as a Content Specialist, where they designed social marketing campaigns and facilitated collaboration between departments. Lucy also co-founded and served as a Producer for Yinyingji Filmmaking Network from 2015 to 2020, leading a community of filmmakers and producing various projects. In 2020, they worked as a Writing Consultant, delivering customized sessions focused on humanities and social sciences academic writing. From 2021 to 2023, Lucy worked at Storyteq | Creative Automation Platform as a Sales Development Representative, building connections with enterprise decision-makers, and later as an Outbound Sales Team Lead, leading data analysis and creating sales communication messages. Currently, Lucy works at Antavo Enterprise Loyalty Cloud as a Customer Experience Manager, responsible for managing and analyzing customer feedback, conducting CX surveys, generating insights, and driving action based on root cause analysis. Lucy also owns the Customer Newsletter initiative.

Lucy Li's education history begins in 2014 when they attended Nanya Middle School and obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Science in 2017. Lucy then went on to The University of Auckland from 2017 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology & Media studies. In 2019, Lucy participated in two exchange programs. Lucy studied Humanities at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Melbourne, each for one year.

In addition to their formal education, Lucy Li has acquired several certifications. In February 2021, they completed the "Google Analytics for Beginners" course offered by the Google Digital Academy (Skillshop). Later that same month, they obtained a "Content Marketing Certification" from HubSpot Academy. In September 2021, Lucy obtained certifications in "Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making" and "How to Organize Your Time and Your Life" from LinkedIn. Most recently, in November 2022, they completed the "Introductory Effective Altruism Program" offered by The Centre for Effective Altruism.
