Alex Parisky

Alex Parisky, PhD, serves as the Director of Online Education & Instructional Support at Antelope Valley College since July 2019, overseeing online instruction and ensuring compliance with educational standards to enhance equity and student success. Prior experience includes roles as Manager of Instructional Resources & Design and Instructional Designer/Curriculum Developer at the University of Hawaii at Windward, as well as consulting and designing online courses for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Earlier positions involved managing NIH-funded educational initiatives at the John A. Burns School of Medicine and providing professional development for science teachers. Alex holds a PhD in Educational Technology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, along with multiple master's degrees in education, curriculum, and technology, and a BS in Geology.
