Joya Henderson

Joya Henderson, RN, MBA, MSN, NE-BC, currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Antelope Valley Medical Center since May 2023. Prior roles include Chief Nurse Officer and Assistant Medical Group Administrator at Kaiser Permanente from 2015 to April 2023, overseeing various services such as Hospitalists and Geriatrics, as well as managing the Emergency Department and other departments. Henderson also held positions as Director of Operations for Surgical Services Leadership Team and Department Administrator at Kaiser Permanente, and prior to that, served as Assistant Department Administrator and Assistant Clinical Manager at Kaiser Foundation Hospital - Moreno Valley. Early career experience includes a Nurse Manager role at Kindred Healthcare and an internship at GAF&R. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Los Angeles Pacific University, a Master's in Nursing Science from American Sentinel College, and further studies at the University of Southern California and California State University, Fullerton.
