Shawna Allen

Shawna Allen started their work experience in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant at vehicle liquidation. Shawna worked in this role until December 2019. In September 2019, they joined Antelope Valley Medical Center as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Lead, and their current position there is ongoing. In January 2020, they also worked as a Respiratory Care Practitioner at Palmdale Regional Medical Center until September 2020.

Shawna Allen completed their Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BSRT) from San Joaquin Valley College-Online in the academic year 2022-2023. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist from Antelope Valley College between 2015 and 2019. In terms of additional certifications, Shawna obtained Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association in April 2023. Shawna also holds the Respiratory Care Practitioner certification from the Respiratory Care Board of California, earned in September 2019, and the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification obtained from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) in June 2019.
