Phillip Knopp currently serves as a Process Development Engineer II at Anteris Technologies, beginning in November 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Reliability Engineer at Medtronic from August 2022 to November 2023, where responsibilities involved supporting pre-market startup acquisition and conducting risk analysis, as well as leading validation studies for product reliability. Phillip also worked as a Venture Innovation Associate at the Technological Leadership Institute, University of Minnesota, focusing on industry mapping for a Circular Economy Incubator, and participated in the UMN Solar Vehicle Project, competing in significant racing events. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Biomedical Engineering Department, Phillip developed surgical techniques for epilepsy research. An R&D Engineering Intern at Abilitech Medical, Inc. contributed to next-generation product development through collaboration and design. Phillip holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completed in May 2022.
