Jacqueline Heard is a Venture Partner at Anterra Capital and a renowned figure in the business world. Jacqueline has over fifteen years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, and strategy consulting.
Heard began their career as a Research Director at Mendel Biotechnology, Inc. where they worked for five years. Jacqueline then joined Monsanto Company and held various positions over an eight-year period, eventually becoming the Investment Director of Monsanto Growth Ventures.
In 2013, Heard left Monsanto to join Preceres LLC as Chairman of the Board. Jacqueline also served on the board of Nimbus Ceres during this time. In 2015, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Two Blades Foundation.
Most recently, Heard has been working at Flagship Ventures as a Partner in VentureLabs and the Chief Strategy Officer of CiBO Technologies.
Jacqueline Heard has a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a post-doc from Harvard Medical School in the field of genetics and agricultural sciences, a PhD in biology from Boston College, and a degree in biochemistry from the University of Vermont.
