Rodrigo Estrada

Rodrigo Estrada is an experienced Senior Research Associate at Antheia, Inc. since January 2020, who previously served as an Associate Scientist at Intrexon Corporation, focusing on heterologous pathway development and metabolic engineering of yeast for pharmaceutical applications. Rodrigo has a strong background in research, having worked as a Student Researcher at San Francisco State University, where investigations centered on histone H2A variant HIS-35 and its role in fertility. Additional experience includes teaching chemistry to high school students as an Instructor/T.A. at Upward Bound Math and Science, mentoring undergraduates in a Summer Science Institute, and leading a team at Jumpstart to support pre-school children in low-income communities. Rodrigo earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from San Francisco State University in 2013.
