Bukie Adebo Umeano

Bukie is an investor on Anthemis’ early stage team, responsible for sourcing and executing deals that align with the FinTech and embedded finance thesis. She is passionate about driving opportunity through financial services and supporting diverse entrepreneurs.

Prior to joining Anthemis, Bukie was a Principal at WomensVCFund where she invested in Series A and B businesses with women in senior leadership. Bukie began her career in strategy consulting. She was a Brand Strategy Director at Ogilvy Consulting, advising senior level clients on brand positioning, brand architecture, and customer strategy, and she was a Strategy and Operations Consultant at Deloitte where she helped retail and consumer products companies explore growth strategies like global expansion and digital transformation.

Bukie holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business.
