Curtis Harnanan is a Director and the Science Based Targets & Net-Zero Service Lead at Anthesis. For close to 25 years Curtis has been the sustainability partner for public and private sector clients across numerous industries including: apparel, consumer products, financial, health care, pharmaceutical, public gardens, technology, transportation, retail, water quality.

Curtis is a strong advocate of long-term strategic partnerships that maintain a client-centred focus and are firmly supported by a robust skilled team. As Anthesis’ Science Based Targets & Net-Zero Service Lead, Curtis oversees a dynamic internal Centre of Excellence that enables our global team to provide world-class support to clients, via the appropriate resources and training.

While his primary focus is on climate management to facilitate business transformation to a net-zero economy – supporting clients with ambitious science-aligned targets and strategically managing the decarbonization of their operational and full value chain footprints – Curtis also has significant experience with: corporate sustainability strategy, benchmarking and reporting, organisational and product sustainability standards, hotspots analysis, materiality assessments, sustainability management software implementation, green procurement implementation and policy analysis.

Curtis has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph and is based in Ottawa, Canada.
