Viviana Jiménez

Director, North America at Anthesis

Viviana is Associate Director of Climate Solutions at Anthesis North America. She supports our clients in identifying climate risks, carrying out GHG inventories through their value chain, and creating carbon strategies and emissions reduction programmes to achieve targets aligned with climate science. She is a sustainability expert and organisational strategist with over 20 years of experience helping organisations measure and improve performance across environment, social and governance issues, and leading the implementation of strategic development and sustainable growth initiatives for a range of stakeholders.

Prior to joining Anthesis, Viviana guided global organisations in identifying and implementing strategic drivers for improved organisational management, calculating and reporting on GHG and water inventories, and developing reduction targets. In addition, Viviana led the UNEP Convention on Migratory Species in North America and worked with a number of charities to further environmental conservation and social equity. She was also an international markets securities trader in Bogotá, Colombia. She is co-founder of Mujeres y Sostenibilidad, and co-founder and advisory board member of the Boyd N. Lyon Sea Turtle Fund.

Viviana holds an MSc in Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford, and a BA in Finance, Government, and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia. She studied International Environment and Development at American University and Non-profit Management at Georgetown University.
