Jos Kooij

Jos Kooij is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the marine engineering and design sectors. As the Founder and System Integrator at Miss Behave Design since August 2022, Kooij has also held the position of Digital Development Manager at Anthony Veder since April 2021. Prior roles include Assistant Project Manager at Royal IHC, where responsibilities included working on the world's largest self-propelled cutter suction dredger, Spartacus, and managing projects within the One IHC programme to standardize cost estimation and specifications. Previous experience at Damen Shipyards involved conducting research on steelbuilding processes, and Kooij has served in leadership roles within student organizations, notably as Fleet Commissioner for the Delft Student regatta sailing association. Kooij holds multiple degrees in Marine Engineering from Delft University of Technology and has further education from Cambridge Academy of Transport and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
