Gian Segato

Gian Segato is a Principal Data Scientist (Research) at Anthropic, where responsibilities include supporting Frontiers and new models since August 2025. Previously, Gian was a Core Contributor at Replit from April 2022 to August 2025, playing a key role as an early employee by architecting the company's end-to-end data stack, which informed decisions across various domains including product, AI, finance, and growth. From 2015 to 2021, Gian founded and served as CEO of Uniwhere, an edtech company that achieved over 30% market penetration without a marketing budget. Gian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Università degli Studi di Padova, completed in 2016.
