Hendson Lin

Hendson Lin currently serves as Commercial Counsel at Anthropic since December 2024. Prior to this role, Lin spent nearly four years at Automattic as Associate General Counsel, where responsibilities included advising C-level executives on various commercial, corporate, and product matters, while also leading an international team of three attorneys. Lin's previous experience encompasses positions such as Senior Counsel at Aggregate Supply LLC, Commercial Counsel at Quantcast, and Corporate Counsel at Rakuten, where duties ranged from managing complex contractual agreements to ensuring data privacy compliance. Lin also held legal roles at SRI and Roku, focusing on drafting and negotiating a multitude of commercial agreements. Lin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Government, as well as Economics, from the University of California, Davis.
