Rahul Patil

Rahul Patil currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Anthropic, where responsibilities include leading engineering across inference, products, infrastructure, and security since September 2025. Prior to this position, Rahul was the CTO at Stripe from January 2023 to September 2025, focusing on engineering and global operations to enhance the company's financial infrastructure. Rahul also held the roles of Deputy CTO and Head of Infrastructure and Global Operations at ClearTax while serving as a board member. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure from July 2015 to March 2020, overseeing engineering, product management, and business operations for core products. Prior to that, Rahul managed the Amazon Kinesis Firehose team at Amazon Web Services, developing scalable data processing platforms. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University.
