Andrew Adelson is retired from Sanford C. Bernstein & Co, Inc. He began at Sanford Bernstein in 1980 as an Aerospace and Defense analyst until 1982, then Director of Research, U.S. Equities from 1983–1986; he was Managing Director of Institutional Research Services from 1987-1989 and, more recently, Chief Investment Officer Global Value Equities from 1990 to 2003. He began serving on the firm’s Board of Directors in 1987.
Mr. Adelson is a board member of the Grassroots Business Fund. Before beginning his career at Sanford Bernstein, Mr. Adelson worked with Ernst & Young from 1978-1980. Mr. Adelson graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School in 1977 with a B.S. in Economics and received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School in finance and accounting in 1978. Mr. Adelson is married with three children and enjoys golf, skiing, and photography.
