Valeisha Butterfield is the Founder and CEO of SEED, a media company established in July 2024 focused on producing best-selling books for television and film adaptation, utilizing AI to reveal untold stories with a goal of inspiring one billion people by 2050. Prior to this role, Valeisha served as Vice President of Partnerships & Engagement at Google from October 2022 to July 2024 and Co-President at The Recording Academy from May 2020 to September 2022, where responsibilities included driving business growth and innovation within the music industry. Additional experience includes serving as Director and Global Head of Inclusion at Google, National Youth Vote Director for Obama for America, Deputy Director of Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Director of Diversity & Inclusion at the Alzheimer's Association®, and Executive Assistant to the President at HBO. Valeisha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Clark Atlanta University.
