Dun Yang

Founder, President & CEO, Chengdu at Anticancer Biosciences

Dr. Yang has over 25 years’ experience in cancer cell biology research, mostly gained in the USA. He moved back to China in 2016 to found the J. Michael Bishop Institute of Cancer Research and head Anticancer Bioscience. Dr. Yang spent 16 years in the laboratory of Nobel laureate Dr. J. Michael Bishop at the University of California, San Francisco, during which time he invented the esiRNA method of gene silence and also pioneered the MYC-AURKB synthetic lethal therapy. He has a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Columbia University, USA.
