Gabriel Jung

Gabriel Jung is a Partner at Antler, a corporate venture capital firm. Gabriel was previously the Head of Corporate Venture Capital at GS RETAIL from January 2019 to December 2021, where they were responsible for the CVC arm of GS Retail in Korea, US, SEA, and MENA. Prior to that, they were the Principal and Chief Executive Innovation Officer at Rakuten from September 2016 to December 2018, where they were responsible for developing and executing next-generation initiatives and businesses for Rakuten Group. Some of their notable projects include leading the artificial intelligence group strategy, partnering with smart device companies for the visually impaired, and initiating a video contextual commerce project using artificial intelligence. From January 2018 to December 2018, they were also the Managing Partner at Bravestone Venture Partners, LLC.

Gabriel Jung has an MBA in Strategy & Entrepreneurship from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from UNLV Lee Business School. Gabriel also has certification from the AICPA in Certified Public Accountant (USA).
