Sam Kortz

Sam Kortz has over 14 years of professional experience in program management, engineering, and product development. Sam began their career in 2007 at Apple, where they held various roles, including iPhone 5 Hardware Engineering Program Manager, iPod Shuffle (4th Generation) Lead Engineering Program Manager, iPod Touch (3rd Generation) Lead Engineering Program Manager, iPod Nano (4th Generation) Hardware Engineering Program Manager, and iPhone 3G Capacitive MultiTouch Screen Engineering Program Manager. In 2012, they joined Nest, where they were Head of Hardware Program Management, Camera Product Engineering Lead, “Works with Nest” Partners Program Manager, and Energy Partners Program Manager. In 2018, they moved to Google and held the roles of Director, Nest HW Technical Program Management and Head of Hardware Program Management. Most recently, they joined Antora Energy in 2021 as Head of Engineering Program Management, Systems Engineering Lead, and Systems Program Management.

Sam Kortz received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University in 2005, after attending from 2002-2005. Sam then attended Stanford University, where they received their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2007.
