Brett Scholz

Associate Professor

Brett Scholz is an accomplished academic and researcher, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Tuckwell Fellow at The Australian National University since 2018, with additional roles as a Senior Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at the ANU Medical School. Scholz has also contributed as Deputy Editor and Associate Editor for the International Journal of Mental Health Nursing and holds positions as Secretary and Executive Committee member in the International Society of Critical Health Psychology. Additionally, Scholz is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Canberra and co-founder and Chief Research Officer at Spur Projects. With a Doctor of Philosophy obtained from the University of Adelaide, Scholz has a diverse educational background in psychology and health sciences, which is complemented by a brief tenure as a Jawun Secondee at the Moorundi Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service Ltd. and prior roles at the University of Adelaide and ACT Mental Health Consumer Network.
