Jihui Zhang

Jihui (Aimee) Zhang is currently a Lecturer at The University of Queensland since January 2025 and serves as a Visiting Academic and Lecturer at the University of Southampton since January 2023. Jihui holds an Honorary Lecturer position at The Australian National University and has progressed from Postdoctoral Research Fellow to Research Fellow and PhD Candidate there since September 2014. Prior experience includes a research and development engineer internship at Sony in 2018, focusing on spatial audio and active noise control, as well as an undergraduate assistant role at Harbin Institute of Technology from August 2011 to August 2014. Jihui earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from The Australian National University in 2018, a Master of Engineering in Instrumentation & Control from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2013, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Measurement, Control Technology, and Instrument from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2011.
