John Pye

John Pye is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in solar thermal energy systems, currently serving as an Associate Professor at The Australian National University (ANU) since August 2006. In this role, John Pye coordinates research at the Australian Solar Thermal Research Institute (ASTRI), focusing on the modeling and optimization of various solar-thermal energy systems and leading the 'Decarbonisation of Steelmaking' project. Previously, John Pye held positions as a Senior Lecturer at ANU and a Visiting Scholar at Sandia National Laboratories, contributing to key projects in solar technology design and performance simulation.
