Stephen Gould

Stephen Gould is a seasoned academic and researcher with extensive experience in electrical engineering and computer science. Currently serving as a Professor at The Australian National University since November 2010, Stephen has also held the positions of Associate Professor and Fellow (Senior Lecturer) at the same institution. Prior to this, Stephen worked at Amazon as an Amazon Scholar from March 2021 to December 2023 and as a Principal Research Scientist from November 2016 to January 2018. Earlier academic pursuits included being a PhD candidate at Stanford University from 2005 to 2010. Stephen's industry experience includes roles as VP Engineering at Sensory Networks and Senior Research Engineer, Team Leader at Dilithium Networks. Stephen's educational background consists of a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University, an MSEE from Stanford University, and a BSc BE in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Pure Mathematics from the University of Sydney.
