Monisha Banerjee

Monisha holds a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Physics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and is an alumna of the Haas Business School, University of California, Berkeley. She has spent over two decades in the area of education management donning various hats of academics, quality, product, business development while being a true academician at heart.

Her first involvement with the development sector was with LabourNet, one of the leading social enterprises where she established the Consulting, Quality and CSR Solutions teams. Prior to LabourNet, she led The Princeton Review (South Asia region), a prominent player in the overseas education test preparation and advisory services space for 12 years, shaping a startup to emerge as a market leader. During her stint with The Princeton Review, she set up an employability skills vertical to cater to engineering graduates in the country. Earlier, she was also appointed by Educational Testing Services (a not-for-profit assessment outfit in the USA) to conduct Train the Trainer workshops across India for the TOEFL test.

Monisha is a member of the Advisory Council of the Center for Education Growth and Research (CEGR), and has co-authored a book on Employability Skills on behalf of CEGR. As CEO of Anudip, her efforts are aimed towards driving more value to donors, beneficiaries and employers through product innovation, alignment of donor goals, process improvement and team building.
