Venky Soundararajan

Venky Soundararajan is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of nference, where the organization leverages augmented intelligence to transform biomedical knowledge into computable formats for healthcare innovation since March 2013. As Co-Founder of Anumana, Inc. and Pramana, both spin-offs from nference, Soundararajan advances AI algorithms for early disease detection and digitizes extensive pathology slides, respectively. Additionally, Soundararajan served as Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Qrativ, a joint venture between Mayo Clinic and nference, until its acquisition by nference in February 2020. Venky Soundararajan holds a PhD in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Research Fellowship in Genetics from Harvard Medical School, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
