Asmi H Shah PhD

Asmi H Shah PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They served as the Vice President of Data and Technology at Anuva since October 2015. Prior to that, they were the Director at NewAge Fire Fighting Co Ltd starting from June 2014. They also worked as a Research Scientist - Data Science and Market Research at NAILBITER from December 2014 to August 2015. Asmi also worked as an IT Strategy Consultant at Lets Nurture for a brief period in June and July 2014.

They gained research experience as a Visiting Research Scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital in February and March 2014. Asmi spent a significant portion of their career as a PhD student at the University of Heidelberg and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / University of Karlsruhe (TH) from May 2010 to January 2014.

In terms of internships, Asmi worked as a Grad Technical Intern at Intel from May to August 2009. They also had internships as a software engineer intern at Inform Technologies in September to December 2008, and as an IT Analyst Intern at Rambus from June to August 2008.

Asmi H Shah holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biology and computer science, which was obtained from Heidelberg University between 2010 and 2014. Prior to this, Asmi pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at San Jose State University from 2007 to 2009. Asmi's educational journey started with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Software Engineering Jobs, completed between 2002 and 2006.
