Cody Steinmetz

As Anvil’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Cody is responsible for supervising the Manager of Resources, Engineering Manager, and the Technology Department Manager. He also works closely with all of our Branch and Program Managers. Before taking over the COO position in 2021, Cody served as Anvil’s Billings Branch Manger.

Cody brings over 20 years of engineering and management experience working in the Oil & Gas, Industrial, and Manufacturing industries. Before joining Anvil as a Project Manager, Cody spent 14 years working for Cargill Incorporated in various roles, including Refinery Supervisor, Plant Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance & Engineering Manager, and Business Unit Reliability Leader.

Cody holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University.
