Koen Vermeij

Koen Vermeij is currently a Data Engineer at ANWB since August 2024, following a brief tenure as a Data Consultant at FreshMinds. Prior to this, Koen held the position of Lead Data Engineer at Datalab from October 2021 to May 2024 and served as a Data Analyst/Data Engineer at Verbond van Verzekeraars from November 2019 to October 2021. Early experience includes a role as a Young Professional in Data Analytics at Breinstein and various positions in customer service and retail. Koen holds a Master of Science in Political Science with a focus on Political Economy from the University of Amsterdam, and has completed additional studies in Future Planet Studies, earning both a Bachelor’s and an Honours Certificate from the same institution.
