Alessandro Scafato has a diverse work experience. Alessandro started their career as a Teacher of Mathematics, Physics, and Mechanics at Tutor Center Reggiano from January 2010 to July 2011. Alessandro then joined Loughborough University as a Teacher Assistant, where they tutored undergraduate students in Finite Element Analysis and provided guidance during final projects. During their time at Loughborough University, they also worked as a Research Assistant, conducting structural FE analysis of bioresorbable PLLA stents and modeling their deployment and polymer biodegradation effects. Alessandro completed their PhD in February 2012 and continued working as a Research Assistant until October 2015. In addition, they served as an Exam Invigilator from May 2013 to February 2015 and was a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher from March 2014 to August 2014.

Following their time at Loughborough University, Alessandro joined OptaSense Ltd as a Mechanical Design Engineer from January 2016 to September 2018. Alessandro then moved on to Frencken Europe B.V., where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer between September 2018 and August 2019.

Currently, Alessandro is employed at ANYbotics, starting from September 2019. Alessandro initially worked as a Development Engineer before being promoted to the role of Senior Expert Mechanical Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Team Lead Hardware Verification.

Alessandro Scafato began their education at Liceo Scientifico, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they studied various subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Italian, English, Latin, Art, Philosophy, and History.

Following their high school education, Alessandro enrolled at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia in 2006. Alessandro pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and completed their studies in 2011.
