Hannes Wyss

Hannes Wyss has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering and management roles. Hannes is currently working at ANYbotics as the Software Team Lead since January 2022. Prior to that, from May 2020 to December 2021, they were a Senior Software Engineer for Robot Systems at the same company.

Before joining ANYbotics, Hannes worked at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc as an Embedded Software Engineer from October 2017 to April 2020.

Hannes also has experience in the mining industry, having worked at Hexagon Mining as the General Manager of Product Development, Operations, Safety, and Autonomous from January 2017 to August 2017, and as the General Manager of Product Development Safety from May 2015 to December 2016.

In addition, Hannes has worked at SAFEmine Ltd as the Manager of Software Engineering from May 2014 to May 2015, and as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer from July 2010 to May 2014.

Hannes began their career as a Project Manager at wedoso GmbH from January 2000 to July 2000, and later served as the CTO at ywesee GmbH from August 2000 to July 2010. In this role, they had comprehensive responsibility for development and maintenance of mission-critical applications, including planning, implementation, testing, and information security.

Hannes Wyss pursued a MSc degree in Software Development from the Open University, completing their studies from 2001 to 2007.
